Well the long weekend had to end and there I was back in the car again transporting two (one mine and one not) to their school.
It seemed to me just typical that after a sunny break my first day back would be met with an overcast, dreary morning with intermittent rain. That is surely the first law of averages.
Secondly, isn't it so that when it rains everything seems to take that much longer... The same people are making the same journey at the same time of day yet for some reason we get stuck in a traffic jam.
Luckily, I had the welcome and pure distraction coming from back about princes and princesses.... and we still made it to school early.
