Fridays, as opposed to Mondays, have a habit of making us feel good.
For some reason this also translates to less traffic in the mornings on the journey, happy children in the car and lots of happy faces in the playground upon arrival.
It is definitely due to the impending weekend and that infectious enthusiasm waiting for a school free day.
I suspect it is also because Friday appears to be, but it is often difficult to elicit a confirmation, that Fridays are the most fun day at school.
Enjoying those smiles is something to take into the day ahead. It is a shame we can't have four more Fridays in the week!
